things absurd

Okay so everyone is talking about it. Michael Jackson died. I know he was weird. I know he was creepy, but he was a very large part of my 80's child hood and when I think about rocking out to thriller when I was in the 3rd grade I get the warm fuzzies. For career day in the 3rd grade we were supposed to go to school dressed as what we wanted to be when we grew up. I hadn't grasped that I was an artist yet and I went to school in FULL OUT Michael Jackson attire ... except that I had on little black high heels with my red pleather silver stud encrusted moon walking suite. I was like I am Michael Jackson if he was a girl... oh so young if I only new hahahaha.
Anyways what I wanted to say was that even though he turned out to be a sad strange little man... I am still really sad that he is not out there yelling YEE HEE HEE! and dancing around like only Michael Jackson could.

I really felt sorry for him for what happened to him in his childhood. HE went all wonky and probably went on to scar lots more children. I wish he could have had a more healthy life and not mutilated his face. I will still miss Michael Jackson. I am still sad to see him gone.

Okay I am offically signed up for blogging, and myspace, and twitter, and facebook and blah de blah blah .... I better go out and do some cool stuff so I have something to blog about. The most exciting thing that happened lately was I had to help move the cows across the road. You see there are strategic points for herding the cows.

You gotta post somebody in the nooks and cranies so they don't run off down into the trees and get all separated. You hoop and holler to drive 'em on through. Yep exciting.

I have been coming up with lots of art ideas and job ideas so now I just need to get up off my blog and do them all.

Well, I came to spend the weekend at my brother's house in Alabama and I didn't realize how much I had missed my niece and nephew since I had moved away 3 and a half years ago. They have made me laugh all weekend long with their musings on life and the small little pronuciation goofs that CRACK ME UP! Dark vader, General Greeveeous, and bruptly were my favorite uses of terms this weekend. Does anyone know HOW MANY PIECES THAT LEGO STAR WARS SHIPS COME WITH??? I ask all who ever think of buying lego ships for kids who are 8 and under to seriously think of how long it is gonna take to build! okay??? These things come with catalog instruction booklets.

It is good fun though, even if your smile fades a little as you pour out those packages of tiny little bits and pieces, and then open another package with yet more bits and pieces... and more bits and pieces. I said waaaaa I am not smart enough to engineer a lego space ship LOL!
My nephew hugged me and said "Don't say that! YOU are smart enough to build a little space ship. You might need me to help you with this big one though." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I thought I was gonna pee my pants. So master level legoist I shall be by tomorrow evening when I make the Star Wars Y wing Space ship my bitch and fly it off to the Degobah system.

I have also been schooled in much anime since I have been here. Inuyasha... I was into My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, and Strawberry Shortcake at 12. Actually I AM NOW STILL INTO all the things I was at 12 hee hee! I can dig on sci-fi stuff and fantasy stuff... but sometimes anime makes me want to break the tele. The humor and pauses in the story make me feel uncomfortable like someone told a bad joke that I don't even get and everyone is laughing hysterically over. But hey, I also thought MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE was the shizz when I was 12 and watched THUNDERCATS religiously. After returning to these fine features after becoming a seasoned somewhat-adult I found they ..... Suck. So maybe the Inuyasha will be my niece's THUNDERCAT experience. Even though the THUNDERCATS still hold a fond place in my heart I can't sit through any episodes without wanting to kick the TV.

I hope to visit my Besties soon! Like this Saturday if the powers that be will lemme catch a flight. I miss them very much and I want to go to CARD making class and laugh until my face hurts.

One of my old school buddies said something interesting to me because of the situation I am in with kind of starting my life over a bit. He said horses can't mend eggshells but there are alternative medicines.... He is living proof cause same thing happened to him once. Now he is engaged to a nice young lady and they both seem happy and made for one another. Stories like theirs give me hope. I also still hold out hope that my current story might have a happy ending in it somehow. Always the dreamer eh? Here's to alternative medicines! May I come upon some and use them to my best ability.

k and i went home to visit everyone in ms.
it had been almost 2 yrs since k went home with me last so everyone was happy to see him.
i got to see everyone and i must admit it did me a world of good to be home again.
i am so excited we are going to move back to ms!!!!! we just need to find jobs. my bro william is going to move into his new bride's house and we will move into his house and take over payments.

back in the woods with no neighbors fucking with us??? pure bliss if you ask me.
we have had the neighbors report our dogs for barking.... then they called animal control and reported our dogs had no food, water or shelter.... which was a total lie we take care of them like they are our children.

and then finally the health dept reporting that a stench of animal feces from out back yard was atracting flies..... and this when we picked up poo every morning!!!! every morning okay

i hate the neighbors and hope a house falls on the witch that keeps calling city departments on us

we have 5 dogs and are only supposed to have 4 legally since our dog had pups unexpectedly we couldn't find homes for 2 of them and we grew attached and now don't want to give them away

so we are most definitely moving hip hip hooray!

i hope i can find a job that i like and a better paying one to boot. although i am gonna miss the free flights.... hopefully we can still get passes since some of my friends and fam are still going to be working there at southwest.

we went to see stardust the weekend it came out. it was EXCELLENT very princess bridesque
of course i will love anything neil gaiman has anything to do with.... because he rocks


i very much want to visit portland soon and see everyone
i can't believe how big all my nieces and nephews are getting.... i hope k and i have some wee ones soon so that i won't have to put them on the school bus with my walker and granny hair doo

i just don't know what is wrong with me these days
it used to be that once i got an idea in my head for an art project i could barely keep myself in my seat until i could get my hands on what i wanted to do

a new mask idea... a new faery in my head... a new weird drawing

now i lay awake at night letting my mind wander to those far away places that are so fond to me
i think of new exciting cool things to create.... and i think tomorrow
TOMORROW WILL BE THE DAY
i will start making these wonderful creations and my little hands just won't be able to stop

and then tomorrow is here... i oversleep ... i dread my job... i blunder to work...
i wish for break... then lunch... then break... i curse the damned weather for being cold and snow y... i go home indulge in lots of tv and coca cola... i go to bed and in the dark and still my mind goes what a dummy you are for not making some great monumentally creative thing today

what a waste it is for you to be creative when all you do is zombie to work and home and never do anything with the lovelies you got stuck up here in your head

it is snowing still today and i must to bed for i will have to drive like a snail to work tomorrow to make it on time
i was late today... everyone was slipping and sliding on the roads yesterday i hate ice and i wish it to go to hell where it can melt properly!!!

there is lots of ice all over the place now
i don't like ice it makes me do the slip n slide whilst i try to yeild to the stop signs

i must thank the ice storm though. they closed where i worked for 3 whole days.

but i must admit i thought it might be the apocolypse because las vegas was expecting snow and my reservations center closed.

they don't close for anything.... except ice apparently.

the top three reasons why today is a very GOOD day

1. i am NOT working (lets face it any day when you do not have to go to work is automatically pretty damned good)

2. i got to go to the comic book store and get issues 1-3 of the amazing spider girl (spiderman's daughter)

3. also got lovely purple long sleeved shirt from old navy. its dark purple and has no particular picture of anything on it just lovely swirly things (swirls also are cause for celebration in general)

had to get up excruciatingly early today for a doctor's appointment but comic books and purple shirt were worth it
it is cold and wet and rainy now... said to snow tomorrow. my mississippi amphibian tendencies loath oklahoma cold winds and snow...

i prefer snow in small amounts as to just enough to cover the ground and cancel school and melt the very next day
not to freeze my car door shut and give my face wind burn as i furiously try to scrape ice off my windshield NOT COOL

so i say to you jack frost UP YOURS!
now i must read my stack of comics and burrow into lots of blankets

tomorrow is my day off thank GOODNESS..
i still have 2 days off this week hooorayyy!
but next week i only have one... i had to trade one away so that i could go home this last visit when i went to see queencrabapple and my mom and dad.

it was worth it! boy did i need to go home. and i get to go home for christmas. i can't wait.

my grandpa's chair is something i brought with me when i moved. it was a swivel rocker arm chair that was covered in patch work squares of red, green and black. the arm was broken one day long ago when my 3 neices and nephew all tried to sit in the chair at once....

it was a chair explosion. far too much squirming and worming for the poor chair to handle.
none the less it was still a sturdy stead fast chair. so i brought it with me because it makes me think of my grandpa. he was very cool you see.
he would let me sit on his lap and comb his thick silver hair (because i wanted to play hair dresser)
and tell me crazy stories about how a gorilla lived down in the hollow by the pond. a gorilla with red eyes that would jump out and eat me up if i wandered off with out him.

he would carve me canoes out of cucumbers and sweet potatoes to play with in the tub and make me biscuits every time i came over. and he would always buy me a big string of beads or a big old gaudy ring from the drug store. and every time i went home he gave me a dollar.
still got the last dollar he gave me.
soooo it is a very good chair indeed to remind me of all that!

kevin's dad fixed the arm for me and we have been working on recovering it. all the stuffing was full of holes from so much sitting and wallering. so we ripped it all out and built it up with all sorts of foam and used a mattress cover for batting.

everything is done except putting on the apolstry! i can't wait until its done.
we are gonna cover it with light green material that has swirls of leaves and flowers in it. kinda like tapestry.

now i am hungry for sweet potatoes and biscuits!

so i am excited about my comfy chair. i will post pictures after it is guts are covered.

i got a new puppy
her name is tink and she has 3 legs

we adopted her from the vet. someone had found her on the street and she had been hit by a car and her pelvis was messed up on one side so they had to amputate her right leg

but she is doing very well on 3 legs and is becoming very spoiled.

i am so glad i got to see one of my long lost friends! i flew home from orange county to mississipp for a couple of days!

i had a great time and i was so glad to see everyone. i promise i am planning a trip back just for you queenie!
now i have to go play with my puppy.

well zebra3x started his new job today

i don't think it was much fun because since we were both on a night time shift because of my job he had no sleep yeesh

but we must repeat over and over it pays well and every other friday off

he has to go in at 7am which means he has to leave for work at 530am
so i will be asnooze(maybe i might have not even gone to bed yet) when he leaves and he will be asnooze when i come home at 300am from work

i have to work until at least the middle of august where i am now but after that i have to find a day job or else not see much of each other
he will be off on weekends and i will be off on tues and weds

how much more opposite can you get?

yarg guess i will have to tough it out just a while till i can find a better job and after get all my check ups out of this health insurance

at least we can still go on our trip to sandiego! woot i have traded so that i will have 9 days off in a row

of course i just worked 12 days straight and only have 1 day off next week yarg again
but my life is sweet still

FOR THE PIRATES COME OUT THIS FRIDAY! i am so jealous that i won't get to go to a midnight showing but i will be up at the crack of noon on saturday to see it

i went to get my hair trimmed today and the lady really fucked it up royally

the lady that cut my hair the first time doesn't work there anymore and this other lady trimmed it up for me it was gettting shaggy and she styled it with WAY TOO MUCH HAIR WAX

she had spiked it all out to look cute so i couldn't really tell that it was cut unevenly
when i got home and washed out all the flippin hair wax it looked like she closed her eyes back there i am going to have to go back in the morning and demand a fixing

i could have cut it better myself with a mirror

kay i wasn't a hip kid cause i didn't have a myspace page... so i made one but it seems that it is just for cool pictures and slightly witty banter

guess the live journal is for more wordy types lol

don't get me wrong i like myspace okay but it isn't quite as satisfying to log on there and read what my friends are up to as it is when i hop on live journal

i almost always end up shooting milk out my nose when i read live journal and myspace is kinda eh... by the way that is the proverbial milk i speak of shooting from my nostrils

i got a strawberry shortcake calendar for one thin dollar at walden books and i am always happy when the month ends cause i get to look at a new picture and think of when i was a little girl

some girls at work are making bead bracelets and id lanyards while they are on the phone and selling them ... they are evil! i already bought 3 bracelets, a pair of earings and a lanyard i will look like a gypsy before it is over!
